This is going to sound really weird, but I almost drowned like 4 times when I was a kid. I suck at anything involving co-ordination. Well the last time I was about 8 and my dad had to jump in the pool to save me, and he said to me after “If you can’t get to the surface, just pretend you’re a mermaid”…And since then I haven’t been afraid of the water. That’s the main reason I’m obsessed with mermaids.. it’s why I have a mermaid sleeve and also why I originally started following your blog :)
